THE ARTIST BEHIND IT ALL

MARCUS is currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Industries through the University of Canberra at the South Bank campus, where their practice is centered on sculpture and ceramics. Their work is grounded in material exploration, with a strong interest in form, surface, and the physical qualities of objects as they exist in space.

Through their practice, Marcus explores the combination of different mediums, working across sculpture and ceramics to produce both figurative and abstract forms. Their current focus is on sculpting figures alongside more experimental, abstract works, allowing material and process to guide the final outcome.
